Frequent questions

Where do sessions take place?

Usually outdoors — in a forest, by water or in town. We choose the place together, thinking about the season and where your dog feels relaxed. At-home sessions happen in your home, because that’s where your animal is most itself.

How long is a session and when do I get the photos?

It depends on the session type and package: anywhere from under an hour to about three. You get the gallery to choose from within a week, and the finished photos no later than two weeks after you choose.

Does my dog need to know commands?

No. A steady “stay” helps but is not required — treats, a toy and patience will do. The best frames rarely happen on command anyway.

What if my dog is afraid of strangers?

Tell me before the session. We then start with a walk and no camera, and I work from a distance with a longer lens. I never force a dog into contact.

Do you photograph cats?

Yes! I have three of my own, so I know every cat has its own rules. Most often I photograph them at home, where they feel safest. If your cat enjoys the garden or walks on a harness, we can head outside. We’ll decide together.

What happens if it rains?

Light rain often makes a wonderful backdrop. In genuinely bad weather we move the date at no cost — we decide the day before.

How do booking and payment work?

Once we confirm a date by email, it’s yours. You pay by bank transfer after the session, when you choose your photos. Breeder sessions and events we arrange separately.
